Thursday, April 19 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (CST)
Saint Francis invited his followers to live in the present moment. He proposed that if we are awake to each now, we will be filled with joy, despite the circumstances. This spiritual wisdom is echoed in “The Book of Joy”, a dialogue with the Dalai Lama and Bishop Desmond Tutu.
In this session we will ponder how, even in awful and painful experiences of life, if we are awake in the Now, our presence will issue an abundance of awe.
Come and ponder St. Francis’ perfect joy and discover its connective wisdom with that of two joyful contemporary spiritual wise men.
$15 • Registration requested by April 16.
Facilitated by Sr. Georgene L. Wilson, OSF, D.Min.
