Thursday, March 19, 26, and April 2 2020 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (CST)
We will explore the ancient practice of Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading) using scripture to explore the passion narratives as we accompany Jesus to witness again “Love conquering Darkness.”
In the practice of Lectio Divina we will listen to the Word, mediate on the Word, enter into “spontaneous prayer” in response to the Word and lastly, we will rest in contemplative silence, allowing the work of the Holy Spirit to shape us and deepen our friendship with God. As we carve out this sacred time and space, we will also discover ourselves in perhaps new and unexpected ways. Please bring a bible and a journal.
To expand on your experience, consider signing up for a private retreat room to allow time for personal silent prayer reflection before the program.
$15 • Program only | $35 - Lenten program with private day retreat room
Registration required by Tuesday, prior to each session. (March 17, 24 or 31)
Facilitated by Anne Fuller
