NEW NIGHT - Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (CST)
Mindfulness is the continuous practice of being aware and awake to the present moment – to be truly present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing.
Each session will explore the meaning and methods of mindfulness, drawing from a range of traditions and approaches. In general each session will begin with a guided meditation or brief reading, followed by an hour meditation where participants alternate 20 minutes of sitting/walking/sitting. The evening ends with a short discussion inspired by the participants in attendance.
People of all faiths and traditions are welcome. As we grown in Community we will adapt to the needs of the group. You do not need to be experienced in any meditation practice to appreciate and benefit from our open meditation sessions. Beginners are welcome, as well as experienced practitioners.
$10 per session - online registration is required
Pre-registration by Monday prior is required to meet our program minimum of (6) attendees. If program minimum is met, then online registration will remain open until Wednesday afternoon.
