Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 9:00PM (CST)
Holy Wisdom (“She who builds her house among us” - Prov. 7), sometimes breathes an unfamiliar teaching into our spiritual center, so as to awaken us to deeper insights. It is as though she lends us a new way of seeing... a new lens for beholding her always renewing home within us.
In this Lenten session, we will explore some of what “lent” is to us using poetry from the ancient Sufi/mystic culture. We will slow down (lento) and use our time to ponder the question: What has Wisdom (“The breath of the power of God” - Wisdom 7) lent me? The hope is that this will bring insights into how we are always the newness of the Christ who “Easters” in us.
Come join Sr. Georgene and a small group of seekers to ponder and incarnate anew. Each session will include a teaching and time for reflection and conversation. Sign up for either the morning OR afternoon session. To expand on your experience, consider signing up for a private retreat room to allow time for personal silent prayer and reflection before or after this program.
$15 • Program only, Registration required by Monday, March 25.
$35 - Advent program with private retreat room, retreat room available 9:00am -7:00pm.
Facilitated by Sr. Georgene L. Wilson, OSF, D.Min.
