Through deep, compassionate listening and gentle inquiry, Spiritual Companioning (formerly called Spiritual Direction) helps awaken you to the Divine in all of life and helps you to notice God’s presence in the moments of daily life. Sr Dawn Capilupo, OSF
Sr Dawn Capilupo, a Wheaton Franciscan Sister, has a fulltime spiritual direction practice. She is an experienced retreat guide and engaging presenter. Sister Dawn understands spiritual direction as watching the movement of God.
Sharon Devo
At ease with a variety of faith and spirituality traditions, Sharon is on staff at Tau Center, in addition to her work as a Spiritual Director/Companion. Sharon's intention is to be fully present with you in the space and silence, to allow your inner wisdom and the still small voice of the divine to emerge and be heard.
Laura Desmarais
Laura Desmarais explored meditation while living in India over ten years ago. Since then she found herself drawn to Centering Prayer and has been influenced by Thomas Keating and Cynthia Bourgeault - combining all of her prayer and meditation experiences to create this offering.
Karen Bychowski
Karen is passionate about guiding others to explore and live out the greatest purpose, offering both Individual Spiritual Direction (in person and virtual) and Personal Retreat Days. She also facilitates programs through the Tau Center, including Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life and Living in Alignment.
Elizabeth Lewis
Artist and writer Elizabeth Lewis is a grief support and spiritual counselor. Recognizing that there is no “one-size-fits-all” path to a felt sense of wholeness, she has pursued extensive trainings and certifications in diverse approaches to stress resilience, spirituality, trauma healing and growth. Elizabeth draws on her personal resilience and experience in overcoming trauma to help her clients find their own best path to healing.
Pat Schutts
Pat has a BA in Theology and an MA in Pastoral Studies, and received certification in spiritual guidance from Creighton University. Pat brings her gift of compassionate listening and openness to the Spirit, and companions seekers as they acknowledge and discover God’s presence in all of life’s journey. She loves art, play, and prayer. Pat is a Wheaton Franciscan Covenant Companion who resides in WI.
